What does it mean to truly know God in His fullness? Psalm 145 invites us into a sweeping vision of who God really is, and the picture it paints is far grander than we might expect. This message walks us through four defining qualities of God that, taken together, reveal what we might call our Complete God. We explore His greatness, which Scripture tells us is unsearchable, a greatness so vast that the very idea of finite human beings sitting in judgment of it borders on the absurd. We then turn to His power, the same power that sustains a universe of incomprehensible scale, holding it all together with the effortless steadiness of a seasoned pilot in calm skies. From there we encounter His holiness, the attribute that best captures the very essence of who God is, not merely one quality among many but the total of all His attributes woven together. And finally we arrive at His mercy, the quality that makes everything personal. When we hold all four of these together, we begin to understand why David, the author of this psalm, could not simply sit quietly with what he knew. He had to declare it. That same impulse lives in us, and this message challenges us to ask how we are answering it in our own lives and communities.
