What does it truly mean to seek the Lord, and why does it matter so deeply for our everyday lives? This message takes us on a journey through a question that cuts right to the heart of our faith. We begin with a sobering truth from Romans 3:11, which tells us that on our own, none of us naturally seeks after God. That reality alone should stop us in our tracks. But the good news is that God is the great seeker. Long before we ever turn toward Him, He is already pursuing us. From the account in John 4 of Jesus seeking out the Samaritan woman to the promise in Luke 19:10 that the Son of Man came to seek and save the lost, we see that divine pursuit is woven into the very nature of God. This message challenges us to ask ourselves honestly: where does God fit in our daily lives? Is He our first thought or an afterthought? The spiritual invitation here is not just to acknowledge God but to cultivate a genuine, growing intimacy with Him, one that leaves us always wanting more of His presence.
