In a world that seems to grow more restless and uncertain with every passing year, we find ourselves asking a question that has echoed through human history: where does real peace come from? This message takes us deep into one of the most striking moments in all of Scripture, the final night of Christ's earthly ministry, recorded in John 14. With the weight of the cross looming and his disciples on the edge of despair, Christ offers something extraordinary. Not a strategy, not a self-help method, but a direct transfer of his own peace. The distinction drawn here is powerful. Christ does not simply point us toward peace. He is the Prince of Peace, and what he offers is his peace, deposited into us. We are challenged to consider that the world's relentless pursuit of peace through movements, symbols, and agreements has yielded almost nothing, because lasting peace cannot be manufactured from the outside in. It must come from Christ himself, flowing into hearts that are willing to receive it. This is not passive comfort. It is an active, living peace that guards our hearts and minds even when circumstances give us every reason to panic.
